Three Celebrations at Once - With Gratitude and Thanks!

At an auspicious hour on the morning of December 10th, Donghong Shipbuilding celebrated three major milestones for three vessels in a single day:

1. The first vessel in the 63,850 DWT Donghong series bulk carrier built for CNPC successfully commenced hull assembly on the berth. CNPC leadership and supervision representatives attended the keel-laying ceremony.

2. The first vessel in the 16,300 DWT Donghong series asphalt tanker built for a Singaporean shipowner successfully commenced hull assembly on the berth. This vessel was designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI). Representatives from the Singaporean shipowner, supervision company, and Bureau Veritas (BV) attended the keel-laying ceremony.

3. The fifth vessel in the 3,300 TEU Donghong series container ship (unlimited navigation area) built for a Xiamen shipowner officially commenced construction with the steel-cutting ceremony. This series of container ships was designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI). Representatives from the Xiamen shipowner and supervision team attended the commencement ceremony.
