Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Successfully Holds the Launch Ceremony for the 2026 "Work Safety Month"

June this year marks the 25th national "Work Safety Month." At 6:00 a.m. on June 2, Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held the launch ceremony for the "Work Safety Month" campaign at the central flowerbed of its factory area, kicking off a series of activities themed "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies — Investigating and Rectifying Risk Hazards." This is the third consecutive year that the company has launched the safety month with a themed signature event.

Unlike previous years, all employees across the entire company participated in this year's event, which included the distribution of commemorative gifts and prizes for a safety knowledge quiz with awards.

At the opening of the event, the company's safety officer delivered a mobilization speech. He emphasized that "safety means walking home from work by yourself," noting that everyone is the primary person responsible for their own safety. Employees are urged to proactively investigate hazards, making safety awareness a conscious habit and emergency response an instinct.

Subsequently, the Chairman delivered a mobilization speech. He expressed gratitude to the employees and their families, pointing out that safety is the foundation of both corporate vitality and family happiness. Over the past year, the company has aimed for "zero accidents," established a responsibility system, and conducted hazard investigations. Given the company's heavy production workload at present, safety must never be taken lightly.

The Chairman expressed three hopes: First, to strengthen red-line awareness, with department heads taking the lead in managing their teams; second, to carry out a "100-Day Safety Tackling Campaign," conducting "mine-sweeping style" inspections in high-risk areas; and third, to make safety a habit through activities such as soliciting "Safety Golden Ideas." He reminded everyone that "there are no bystanders in safety; everyone is responsible," urging increased safety investment to ensure the well-being of all employees.

Following this, over 2,000 people took a collective oath, demonstrating their determination to uphold the safety bottom line. "You come to your post filled with love. Do not forget your children's blessings, your spouse's wishes, or your parents' expectations. Your safety is the greatest love you can give your family." These words, tied together by familial affection, brought a greater sense of warmth to safety management.

Finally, the Chairman and the General Manager led all personnel to walk up to the safety wall to sign and pledge in turn. Year after year, these signatures bear witness to our commitment to safety.
