This vessel is classed with CCS and designed as a steel-built, double-bottom single-side, single-deck, combined framing system, single-engine, single-propeller, aft-engined refrigerated cargo vessel with forecastle and poop, suitable for unrestricted navigation. The cargo hold area is fitted with plain bulkheads; the double bottom in cargo hold area and main deck, and the main deck in engine room area adopt longitudinal framing system; the side shell, cargo hold platforms, fore/aft ends and superstructure adopt transverse framing system. The vessel is strengthened for ice class B.

The vessel has four refrigerated cargo holds, each hold bulkhead is watertight and covered with foam plastic insulation material to prevent heat transfer between adjacent compartments, meeting different temperature requirements for various cargo types. The refrigerating machinery room is equipped with refrigeration plants including refrigeration units, evaporators, pump sets and related piping systems. The refrigeration unit generally consists of refrigeration compressors, driving motors and condensers. According to cargo temperature requirements, the refrigeration plants can maintain hold temperatures above -35°C. When hold temperature reaches -35°C, the temperature controller will automatically close the solenoid valve to stop liquid supply.
