Zhejiang Province's First Ship Inspection Skills Competition" Grandly Held at Our Company

The First Zhejiang Provincial Ship Inspection Skills Competition was grandly held at Donghong Group - Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. on October 24.

This event was jointly organized by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation and Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, with Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. as the proud co-organizer. The competition brought together 23 elite teams from across the province, featuring nearly one hundred highly skilled participants, creating a grand-scale skills gala unprecedented in Zhejiang's ship inspection history both in terms of scale and participation.

The competition focused on core aspects of ship inspection, including critical practical challenges such as drawing review, on-site tonnage measurement and calculations. Specialized competition categories were designed for hull, machinery and electrical divisions, aiming to authentically recreate commercial and fishing vessel inspection scenarios while comprehensively evaluating participants' theoretical knowledge and practical operational skills.

Zhoushan Ship Inspection Team 1 and Ningbo Fishing Vessel Inspection Team 1 won first place in the commercial vessel and fishing vessel team categories respectively. Six outstanding individuals achieved first place in individual events, earning the prestigious title of Golden Blue-Collar Workers in the inaugural provincial-level ship inspection skills competition.
