127-meter Deck Cargo Ship Successfully Commences Construction with Ignition Ceremony!

On December 16, the construction of the 127-meter deck cargo ship, undertaken by Donghong Group · Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., officially commenced with a successful ignition ceremony!

This vessel is a domestically navigating coastal deck cargo ship primarily designed for carrying deck cargoes including steel products and bulk stone materials (such as lump bauxite). (Note: Sand and cargoes with water absorption exceeding 3% are unsuitable for loading).

The ship features an all-steel structure with a continuous single deck and forecastle, equipped with a bulbous bow and a stern frame with sole piece constructed by welded steel plates. Bilge keels are fitted on both port and starboard bilges. It adopts a twin-engine, twin-propeller, twin-rudder stern-engine configuration, powered by two marine diesel engines driving fixed-pitch propellers via gearboxes.
