Warmly celebrate the successful launching of the 10th container vessel of the “Shengshun 68” 3,300 TEU series.

On October 14, 2026, the 10th container vessel of the “Shengshun 68” 3,300 TEU series was successfully launched, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent on-schedule delivery of the vessel.

The vessel commenced construction on March 2, 2026, underwent block assembly on the slipway on May 6, and was launched as scheduled on October 14. During the construction period, the shipyard experienced prolonged continuous high temperatures, with the maximum outdoor temperature exceeding 40°C, and also faced the challenge of four typhoons passing through the area. The project team withstood the high temperatures and typhoons, dynamically optimized the construction plan, organized work during off-peak hours, implemented heatstroke prevention and typhoon protection measures, and overcame multiple adverse conditions with the iron-army spirit of tackling difficulties, thus ensuring the smooth achievement of all key milestones. This achievement embodies the joint efforts of all participating teams, and would not have been possible without the strong support of the shipowner, the classification society, and partner units.

The vessel is designed by Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute and surveyed for class by China Classification Society (CCS), meeting the requirements for unlimited navigation areas. The vessel has an overall length of 197.0 meters, a molded breadth of 34.8 meters, a design draft of 12.5 meters, a deadweight of approximately 63,500 tons, and a design speed of 15.0 knots. Its container capacity is 3,316 TEU, including space for 200 FEU refrigerated containers, and it is capable of carrying Class 1 to Class 9 packaged dangerous goods.

Going forward, we will carry out outfitting, equipment commissioning, and sea trials in an orderly manner, steadily advance the work with the craftsmanship spirit of striving for excellence, and make every effort to ensure the successful delivery of the vessel.
