Build the Lifeline Belt! Donghong Shipbuilding Holds Special Safety Belt Activity on "Safety Day"

On the morning of July 10, Zhejiang Donghong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. celebrated its tenth "Donghong Safety Day." Witnessed by the signature wall themed "The 24th National Work Safety Month," the "Donghong Shipbuilding Safety Belt Distribution and Practical Drill Activity" was solemnly held. The event was presided over by General Manager Hongzong Li, with Group Chairman Hongying Li and nearly 2,000 employees gathering to jointly participate in and witness this safety convention.

The event closely revolved around the core theme "Safety Belt Equals Life Belt". Representatives from the production front lines and management delivered resounding safety declarations:

Jia Yang from the Painting Engineering Team shared personal insights on "Building the Lifeline for High-Altitude Work", emphasizing the iron rule of fastening the safety belt while working. Safety work must lead by example, and safety education must be reinforced daily and constantly.

Jian Gao from the Jiaxin Painting Team proposed a warning about the "three areas where we must not overestimate", calling for equal emphasis on both safety and production to ensure absolute security.

Guolin Zhan from the Assembly Construction Team, representing the construction teams, pledged: Starting with fastening the safety belt, we are determined to be safety pioneers and build a solid safety firewall.

Shengliang Yu from the Safety and Environment Department stated on behalf of the department: Safety supervision must be both strict and impartial, yet compassionate. Wherever there are workers, there must be safety officers present.

Wenqian Li, Assistant to the Company Chairman, emphasized in her concluding speech: All employees must not only have the belt "in hand" and "on body", but more importantly, achieve having the belt "in mind" and "using it in action". At her call, nearly 2,000 employees raised their right hands and made a solemn oath that echoed through the venue:

"For the happiness of my family, for the safety of the enterprise, I will always fasten my safety belt, strictly adhere to safety regulations, protect life, and never slacken!"

Liusong Li, Deputy Town Mayor for Industry of Hepu Town, attended the event and highly commended Donghong Shipbuilding's continuous investment and remarkable achievements in production safety. He encouraged everyone to continue upholding the concept that "Safety is Weightier than Mount Tai", deeply embedding safety awareness in their hearts and manifesting it in actions to jointly safeguard peace.

During the activity, Yaozhong Yu from the Safety and Environment Department conducted on-site instruction on the standardized use of safety belts. He meticulously explained the correct procedures for wearing safety belts, methods of use, applicable work scenarios, and particularly emphasized fatal taboos like "false hooking" and "incorrect hooking". Subsequently, employees conducted practical drills under professional guidance, learning and mastering the skills for correct wearing and usage.

The representative speeches at this event were impassioned, the practical drills were serious and earnest, and the on-site atmosphere was solemn yet fervent. This was not only a distribution of safety equipment but also a profound baptism of safety awareness and skill enhancement.
